C.R.A.F.T. Research Scholars

Art MEDified, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to the promotion of health literacy. To that end, Art MEDified’s 8-week C.R.A.F.T. Research Scholars Program aims to cultivate health literacy by producing literature on the subject and supporting future researchers. By becoming a C.R.A.F.T. Research Scholar, students will develop their ability to conduct a research study, navigate the Web of Science database, program in R, write with technical proficiency, source research opportunities, orally defend their work, and more!

This is a “foot-in-the-door” research program. Our goal is for us to be a stepping stone to joining a university research lab by imbuing you with interest, experience, and desirable skills. We highly encourage taking advantage of the “Finding a Lab 101” unit of our curriculum to apply to labs after our program, especially if you are a college student
